Kuala Lumpur is the capital of Malaysia, but the government no longer resides in town, but has moved out to a new city down the Klang valley. The Petronas twin towers are the famous landmark of Kuala Lumpur and visible from most parts of the city when the smoke haze from Sumatra and Malaysia don't make the city invisible.
