Seattle has a concentrated downtown area, bracketed by the hills heading up to Kerry park - of the famous views, and by hills to the south. The northern end of downtown has the Seattle center with the famous space needle and the wonderful Chihully glass museum. Puget sound frames the west side of town, and the east side is Lake Washington.
